Maknie

Sweater dresses were the thing of this autumn winter 2010-2011 season in RL fashion. And I wanted to blog one for ages as many stores made cool ones. But my pixel heart started to beat faster when I spotted this loose sweater on the feeds. It's normally a male sweater but with a few clicks and resizer scripts, I turned it in a sweater dress. Oh and did I mention it's a free gift?
Tights: G.L.A.M Tintable Metallic Lycra Tights (not inworld anymore)
Boots: Maitreya SoHo Boots (previous gift)

  1. Well sweetie we don't ALL have your "we all have items" *wink*. I do have those tights and love them and wear them often. They are my old go-to leggings when I need a color I don't have. I have the boots, but just wore them for the first time this last month. And that is all that I own that is matching. I do have some sweaters of the same style but not as long as long as your dress -- so we could count those.

Anyway, it happens ALL THE TIME and you just have to smile and maybe shake your head a bit. I have a special bookmark folder that I entitled CREDITS and in it I try (not always with perfect success) to give credit to those that have helped me find an item or a place. Today you were mentioned for the tip about Imani. The more of us that actually do give credit, the better off we are --- at least that's my take on it all.

Congrats I guess that you had something worth repeating :D.

  2. What I wanted to precise by saying we all have them was that I pick items I find by exploring inworld or in blogs I follow. So it's mostly items easy to get that other certainly blogged before me. Actually I even precise on this post that I found that sweater in the feeds.

It made me smile really. It's how you know you made it in the blogosphere :)

And yes I noticed your wink in your post today ;)I was just thinking: cool you followed my good plan (and we bought the same overall haha). Then when I read the post I found the credit super adorable as, the same way, I didn't expect it.

I can be 4 years old in SL but I'm still a fresh blogger, so I discover the bad and good surprises. But in general it's good surprises and I'm just happy to be part of it.
