52 Weeks of Color Challenge: Ruby

52 Weeks of Color Challenge: Ruby. Strangely the color ruby is not a red like the gemstone but it's more a pink. But this bloggers challenge has been a lot about interpretations and discoveries. So I decided to go for the stone color.

Also I discovered as I look each week for the exact color on wikipedia that for a same color name, if you change the language, you don't have the same color at all. Example with the English page for khaki that is a beige and the same name on the French page for kaki is a green. I discovered that after a fight with a friend who was telling me an item was kakhi and me I was saying not at all, and far from it. In the end we were both right in our own languages.

52 Weeks of Color Challenge: Sky Blue fail

Watch me hide in shame for failing at this week's bloggers color challenge with sky blue. When I saw the color last week I thought cool! I certainly have a lot of little dresses in that color, that will be a fresh post. But after returning all my inventory upside down, no sky blue, no light blue, no baby blue, nothing except some jeans if that counts. Then a quick appointement at my favorite hair salon Truth, who accepted streak a small part of my hair in light blue...

Fashionable Bald (bloggers challenge)

Sylvia Olivier launched a challenge for her friend who has a cancer and is entering in chemo soon. The goal here is to prove that bald is beautiful and fashion. And if your cancer is detected early, it will simply save your life.

I truely believe that bald can be super hot in both worlds. I think the scarf makes it too obvious "I want to hide something". No need to hide it, but you can accessorize it with a cap or a fedora. You'll have all eyes on you not because you have a temporary disease you're going to kick in the face, but because you are beautiful.
